Steve Cahill

Steve Cahill is a Director and Senior Architect at CP Architects. He is an associate member of the Australian Institute of Architects and a Registered Architect of Queensland.
After graduating from the Queensland University of Technology in 1999, Steve returned home to Far North Queensland and commenced work for the Department of Public Works in Cairns. After a number of years abroad, working in London for an architectural firm, Steve again returned to Cairns and rejoined the Department of Public Works.
In 2006 he commenced work as an Architect with Clarke and Prince (CP) Architects and became a Director in 2009.
Steve has an eye for detail and works with calmness and humour. He embraces technology and seeks creative solutions, working closely with clients, builders and contractors to provide design solutions in response to the site and environmental conditions. He has a reputation for well-considered, practical and insightful design outcomes that go beyond the client’s expectations.
Steve leads and collaborates on most of the significant projects for the office with roles in design, documentation and contract administration.
